Dear Starmount Family,
My Thanksgiving morning has been full of memories that we have experienced together over the years. Watching God do wonderful things among us has been an overwhelming joy. I am so thankful for God giving me the opportunity to be a pastor in the midst of you, for watching you grow in the Lord, for strengthening our relationships and love for one another, for watching Starmount grow into a beautiful cross-cultural community of believers, for God bringing resources and mature leadership to guide Starmount forward, for your love to Susan and I, and especially your patience, forgiveness and love for me as I continue to learn how to be a better pastor. As we gather around our tables, may joyful thanksgiving from our God of peace rest upon you and your families.
To those who are experiencing illness and isolation due to the pandemic, know that our hearts and prayers are with you. May the Lord shower on you a spirit of love, peace, and the joy of His comfort and presence. And may healing come soon!
As we begin the Advent Season, let us all look to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with Thanksgiving and praise! May He fill our hearts with the joy of our deliverance!
For the LORD comforts Zion; he comforts all her waste places and makes her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song. (Isa 51:3 ESV)
God Bless You All,
Pastor Anthony
